Rehearsal Schedule

  • Full Band rehearsals usually resume in late February or early March and run through December and meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m (setup at 6:30) at the Friends of the Carpenter in Vancouver, WA.
  • Volcanic Dixieland Jazz Band Ensemble rehearses on alternating Wednesday evenings for an hour starting at 6:30 usually at the home of Jim Rourk. See calendar for starting dates and specific information.
  • Same Old Schmidt German Band Ensemble rehearses on alternating Wednesday evenings for an hour starting at 6:30 usually at the home of Jim Rourk. See calendar for starting dates and specific information.
  • Woodwinds Anonymous Ensemble rehearses on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. usually at the home of Dorothy and John Parkin.

Getting to Friends of the Carpenter

Friends of the Carpenter is located at 1600 West 20th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660.

From the north (off of I-5 Freeway), take Exit 1D, then turn left onto 4th Plain Blvd. Travel west until you go over the railroad tracks overpass, then take the first left onto Simpson Ave. Go to end and turn left onto W. 20th Street. The Friends of the Carpenter building will be at the end on your left beyond the fence.

From the south (off of I-5 Freeway), take Exit 1B, toward City Center/Convention Center. Merge onto C Street, then turn left onto E. 15th St. Continue onto W. Mill Plain Blvd. Turn right onto W. 20th Street. The Friends of the Carpenter building will be at the end on your left beyond the fence.
