The Vancouver Community Concert Band is a group of mostly amateur musicians in Vancouver, Washington USA. Some started an instrument after retirement. Some played in school and have not touched their instrument in decades. A couple are professionals.

The VCCB has a Community Concert Band that performs at public events and has a summer concert series in Vancouver public parks. There is also a Dixieland band and (soon) a Wind Ensemble.

We exist to have fun making music from a wide range of eras. Our repertoire includes Sousa marches from the late 1800s, folk tunes, musical arrangements and adaptations of jazz and classical standards.

We hope to use our fun to promote the enjoyment of music in the communities where we live and visit. We are part of a movement to revitalize the American, well world, tradition of the local town band.

Our concerts are always free. Donations are gratefully accepted and applied toward the purchase of new music and other band essentials.
